What is Bog Oak?

Bog oak is not just wood — it is ancient history preserved by nature. For thousands of years, fallen oak trees lay submerged in peat bogs, rivers, and wetlands, where minerals and tannins slowly transformed their color, strength, and character.

Each piece we use has been carbon-dated (same at over 4000 years old — older than the Pyramids of Egypt). Its deep, almost black tone and unique texture cannot be reproduced by any modern process.

Because bog oak is only discovered by chance and in very limited quantities, it is considered one of the rarest natural materials on Earth. Once a deposit is found and used, it will never exist again.
